We are thrilled to announce that Skytrans Airlines has further expanded its long-standing partnership by using our W2 GDS Sub-hosting solution and now our W2 Ticketing solution as well. With GDS Sub-hosting, W2 has helped Skytrans to sell tickets in major GDS worldwide driving material revenue growth. Skytrans is now becoming a Participating carrier with the GDS provider Travelport and will sell under their own code in this channel.
How does the W2 Ticketing solution benefit Skytrans? With W2 as the Validating Carrier, Skytrans will be able to fully utilize the benefits of global ticketing and to increase earnings from over 150 global BSP markets. The regional carrier flies to 21 destinations in Australia with a fleet of four Dash 8-100 aircraft and five Cessna 208B aircraft.
